I love working with photography and being able to use my own photos in the graphic design work that I do for clients. Most of these photos were taken for Spoonflower for the launch of new fabrics. You'll also sometimes find me on the other side of the lens, modeling, as seen in the last few photos in this gallery.
Filming, editing, and animating motion graphics are growing passions of mine. Here you will find various examples of my video work.
I designed this infographic as a summary of the top fabrics and company highlights from Spoonflower in 2015. This graphic was reformatted and shared through social media and email.
For this project, the marketing team wanted customers to understand how easy it is to print your own photos onto canvas using Spoonflower, and then turn that fabric into stretched canvas wall art.
I wire-framed and designed the layout for a landing page to be added to the main domain. Working with their front-end developer, the page was launched on the site. I also directed, filmed, and edited the tutorial video featured on the page.
Spoonflower runs several sales or promotions throughout the year. One of the most successful is BOGO fat quarters. For this promotion I came up with the concept of an animated GIF that ran through a few designs I curated from the marketplace. Some of the designers were thrilled to be featured, and the graphics were well received by shoppers.
For this promo, I was responsible for designing site banners for Spoonflower.com, display ads, social graphics and ads, and email graphics.
I worked with Spoonflower's Email Marketing Associate to design the welcome series that she was envisioning for the company. When new users sign up for Spoonflower and subscribe to the email list, they are greeted with this 4 part email welcome series to help guide them through Spoonflower and provide inspiration and first steps towards their first order.
All graphics and layouts were designed by me. Spoonflower uses Bronto's email service to host and distribute the emails.
A selection of logos I have designed over the past few years.
Various infographics I created for Syngenta Flowers. They highlight specific flowers of the season, and are a fun way to share facts about Syngenta through web, social media, and print.
VUDU is the place to watch new HD movies and TV shows. For the sign up page, I incorporated parallaxing design to engage users in the main features that VUDU offers. Each section highlights a different feature.
In addition to the parallax design, I also designed a very simple landing page with minimal scrolling to provide for A/B testing. You may click through the the various full screen images that reflect VUDU's versatility.
Lastly, I redesigned their "New Release" page, which highlights new move and TV show releases to entice people to sign up for VUDU to watch.
These are a few of my favorite Facebook posts I designed while at Response Marketing. These fun images promoted new movies and TV shows that are available to watch through VUDU. We created unique, shareable content that dramatically boosted fan interaction on their Facebook page
The McAfee $35,000 Question Facebook game was a campaign designed to increase fan interaction and page likes while also educating fans about digital asset security. The game offered weekly prize packages, as well as a grand prize to entice fans to play. In addition to the game, we created infographics and social posts to spread awareness and attract fans to play.
McAfee branded infographic designed to educate McAfee's Facebook fans and Twitter followers about the danger of sharing private photos and other content to loved ones.
Ankleaid is the first water submersion device designed specifically for ankle and foot therapy. I personally designed their logo and identity, website, as well as other marketing materials.
I was also a hand and foot model for a couple of Ankleaid's instructional videos.
I grew up watching Star Trek with my parents. I really feel like the Star Trek universe has had an impact on my design life. These are a minimalist approach of the original six Star Trek movie posters. I've broken down the movies into simple icons that any true Trekkie would recognize.
Doctor Who quote from The Family of Blood. Season 3, Episode 9.
"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful."
